The Top 4 Reasons why Goal Scoring is up at the 2014 World Cup
by John DeBenedictis.
The 2014 World Cup is going to set a new modern day record for the number of goals scored.
And there are 4 main, distinct, and surprising reasons why.
And they have nothing to do with poor defending.
I will reveal each reason shortly. You'll be surprised at the # 1 Reason but if you have read my book, the Last 9 Seconds, or read and of my articles since 2010, you may be able to figure it out. And I'm wondering if changes made from FIFA were as a result of some observations and facts that I've brought up in my book and articles.
After all, FIFA did receive a copy of the book "The Last 9 Seconds" thanks to Dick Howard, who is on the FIFA technical committee. Also, it may be thanks to Dr. Jay Martin who published a couple of my articles in The NSCAA's Soccer Journal which might have lead to some changes that has increased goal scoring.
The same article was also published by Karl Dawazien from the CYSA on their website and magazine and by Mario Calabretta in Soccer 360 Magazine. Also, thanks to Brenard LeCerf for some excellent editing of my works. Together, the reasons why goals are up could be have come from us in North America
